itsmymoment, Yes, camera survived.

Camera survived but author spent 3 days in hospital with pneumonia for walking barefoot in the rain. I like the idea of cropping the sky as you can see the rain against the trees. Might make it more interesting.

Gigi, no I didn't catch pneumonia. In May it isn't cold enough for that. Even I literally swam home. Thank you for your comment.

I like the edited version even more. I think having less sky adds to the effect. Gives it a bit of a gloominess and the rain works well against the trees. Thanks for considering the change.

if this is heavy rain, then you'd be blown away by the rain we get sometimes when it is raining sideways.

k5683 Thankfully it was rain without wind, you can see that it pouring strait down. But it was very heavy and wet. Lack of water on the road because it was just beginning.

I think this is more 'motion blur' than defocus..........good capture though.

K5683 - No I didnt change this , its the same as always. It is a shame the face isnt more visible though.
Cyrus - I agree that this maybe a bit of a motion blur but you have to agree that equally nothing is in focus. Its a bit of a strange one.

agrees with Ade but also agrees it's all pretty much defocused.

the clouds are also dark... not really "scary" heavy clouds but... well, it's a beautiful image
