Any contrast adjustment would be a big improvement. Did you take this in the fog?

Yes this was indeed taken in the fog. I'm new to this so I didn't know if I was allowed to make any photoshop adjustments to the image but I've followed the advice and upped the contrast a bit.

Much better. Take a look at the rules and guidelines. You'd be surprised what you are allowed to do to your photos.

cropping most off the bottom and some off the right would greatly improve this image.

agrees. The kid in the corner is kind of distracting.

I know there was probably not much you could do but some more interesting scenery to the other side would have made this a more interesting shot. GL all the same
