Exciting!
Wild angle for the house ~ It looks like it's coming out of the ground! Great mood with the sky and the colors. Nicely done!
I would love to have that as my "home away from home" ))))
is it the photo of same place which is seen in the photo next to it ?
The same place, but is not the same house.
Thanks everybody!!

My wife makes these delicious home made Truffles, and I made the candy "sushi"
The truffles: Make ganache by mixing heavy cream and chocolate and flavor it with Grande Marnier or cherry liquor. Then, dip the ganache into melted chocolate and let it set.
The "sushi:" mix a little corn syrup into coconut flakes. Unroll a fruit rollup and cover it with the coconut mixture. Place a Twizzler (get the ones in different colors) on top of the coconut, about an inch from the edge of the rollup. Fold the edge of the rollup over and roll it over with a little pressure to firm things up. Take a serrated knife and cut the rollup into sushi sized pieces. (5 years and 3031 days ago)
Candy sushi is so cool! I think sweetened coconut is much better than rice crispies. Have you seen the Japanese kits that make candy roe?

I would have done just one or the other in the shot and possible tried it at an angle, not straight down.
Some great looking candy, but I'm sure you could take a much more interesting photo of them, but I guess by now you have eaten them all.
sushi candy that's a great idea
Thanks for your comments. I agree I probably could have taken a more artistic shot, but this was a quick snap before we sent these off to my son. But I thought it'd be fun to share the recipes etc. Yes, they are long gone.

What I have learnt, it's always a good idea to have a tripod handy. (5 years and 3042 days ago)
Think everything is better on this -- lighting, composition and focus == well done
Much more dynamic now!
It's a great improvement, the light, the background...
Just the angle change I do not really like. But that could be my western look.
Let me explain:
I'm from Europe and used to read from left to right and that's how I learned to 'read' a photo (matter of fact any image) too. Due to the change in the angle the hands (a focal point in this photo) are closed to me, in your original photo they are open and therefor, to me, a much more friendlier angle to look at.
Rob, that's a really interesting point of view, something I haven't considered, but will keep it in mind from now on and see how I actually look at a photo. Thanks.
Much nicer. Great job. Interesting perspective, Rob. But... the new way the face is also facing us more, becoming more "open" and inclusive (nonverbally)
I also like the new angle better, because it makes the visual movement much more fluid, where in the first image, it was somewhat "jerky," with the eye stopping at every angle of the elbows and knees. I also did not like the profile view of the head. The new angle provides a much more complete view of the face, as well as the drum, and the angles of the joints just "flow" better...
great improvement, the second image is great!

Beautiful photo, where is this taken?
Nice composition, but seems a little flat and green. If you have Photoshop, try Auto Color.
beautiful scene but it would appeal more if you enhance the saturation... IMHO...
