Gee... can't imagine why people don't take these tea baggers seriously.
not exactly what I would consider a newspaper headline, and these people really are quite strange, so they deserve a better one than this!!
do yall understand what a tea party is?
Yes... as a matter of fact, I do.
id love to hear your definition
The Tea Party Movement, A community committed to standing together, shoulder to shoulder, to protect your country and it's Constitution, upon which you were founded!
We are a not all cabbage crunchers here author!
Generally, the "Tea Party" is a faction of disaffected Republican Party members, mainly from the "neo-con" end of the spectrum. They advocate less government and lower taxes. However, they do not define what they mean by this. Bush instituted some "smaller government" ideas. For example, he gutted the funding for the SEC, making it almost non-existent. This led to few regulations and virtually no enforcement of Wall Street. That worked out well, didn't it? They deregulated the airlines and now they charge for everything in sight. They deregulated cable and the prices skyrocketed. BUT... it WAS less governement so I guess that makes them happy. Lower taxes? We (the US) already pays incredibly low taxes compared to most industrialized nations. Do they want less infrastructure repair (desperately needed), a smaller military, less education (we're already behind most other countries - India has more students in "honors" courses than we have total students)? Bush came into office and had been left a budget surplus by Clinton. After his first term Bush had a deficit of about $5 trillion dollars. After his second term it was almost twice that. I didn't see the Tea Partiers screaming about deficits then. It's only now, after the first Black president adds ONE trillion more bringing health care into the 21st century - and even that was deluted to make the insurance industry happy, that they get all upset. Bottom line - any group that idolizes Sarah Palin isn't going to have too much mainstream credibility.
to me it means people trying to protect their money, people who dont want to pay for other people to sit at home and collect their money. Just because people earn more money than others, doesnt mean they should pay more, to help the people sitting at home being lazy. There is most of the time a reason for people making more money.(THEY WORK HARDER). so the harder i work the more taxes i should pay? ummmmm no
LOL. And you're asking US if we know what the Tea Party movement is about?
yep sure did
blown highlights.......... flash too harsh.....more of a 'snap' than a photo, imo!
