I would love to know how you took this! It is pretty...
Awesome pic but has a PS look about it (could be that I am a newb and therefore don't really comprehend what I am seing) - can you explain the shot a little for me - I shall hold my vote till then.
Cropped pic taken with an extreme wide angle lens?
This is a real pic near Haystack Rock in OR taken 2 weeks ago. It's a pan of 14 shots. All I did was use a vignette on both sides of the sky.
Looks like an HDR panorama (but vignettes aren't allowed, I think?)
According to the rules vignettes are not allowed.
Thanks for the explanation and removing the vignette.
beautiful entry...

A glider on take off......... (5 years and 3722 days ago)
cool!
nice, but not allowed under present rules.
I would gladly remove it, but I cannot see where in the rules this is not allowed.....!
Our rules aren't very clear any more, but I always beleived you were only supposed to use on image, appart from panoramas.
I am not going to argue with you my, you have been here longer than I, nut I have seen a few images recently where two or more shots have been stitched together. As long as it does break the post editing rules with regards to filters and stuff, I don't see it as problem........imo....!
I've always wanted to go up in a glider. Nice shots, but I agree with friiskiwi. I was always under the impression that we're allowed one shot unless it specifies in the theme that there can be more. This is basically three shots. You could always re-enter the middle one.
I am sorry, but I have read the rules from top to bottom now, and I can find nothing in them which says I cannot do this. If it is wrong, then red flag it by all means........the one shot on it's own means nothing without the others!
I don't know about the rules and actually would even care here but I don't really understand why you did it. The two on top could have well be by themselves. I think it just does not add any value (i.e. votes) for you here. I bet you will make a higher vote with just single image
actually, these shots were not that easy to achieve.I don't know if you have ever watched a glider being launched this way, but it is very quick.......you have to be ready just at the right time!
The images are great, however unless specified in the contest guidelines only one image is allowed ... would recommend that you change your entry to avoid removal.
ok, although there is nothing specific in the rules about it, I have changed the image to keep you all happy..........I'm not though! If there is a rule about this, then it should be written for all to see.
great shot. Since the site changed from PXLshots, the rules aren't written very clearly.
They say frames aren't allowed anymore either but that's also not found in the rules. I didn't see the othere image but my ownly suggestion would have been to crop some of the bottom out.
if I did that Jaws, there would have been no feeling of height in this shot, which is what I was initially trying to achieve............it is an aeroplane after all!!
