very sad, how could you do that to your teddy?
okay.. ;( this brought tears. sorry, i'm a huge teddy bear fan. like...had a ton of them when i was a kid. leaving your dearly beloved tossed along the side of the road.. entirely sad.
but its a well taken photo. contrast and all. just wish he weren't stuck in the gutter.

It has a drama in this shot. Sad...
Not every Teddy gets a good home, I have a feeling the author found the teddy like this.
Ohhhh sad looking image author, but damn great shot...well done
Gawd, it's about frikken time I place in one of these contests. My loosing streak was seriously starting to piss me off.
BTW, IT WAS STAGED!!!!! I found teddy at a thrift store for a buck and tossed him in the gutter and framed the shot, based on the idea I had in my head. My cat will just claim him.

downtown Cancun - this woman is chatting with a friend while her child waits in the wagon, and to me it seemed an innocent moment in a society that is crumbling under the effects of crime and degeneracy (5 years and 3632 days ago)
I like your take on the theme and I think I know what you were going for. It just seems to lack a little chaos.
yeah, i didn't really mean to describe the surroundings as "chaotic", but i couldn't find the words i wanted to use....i was hoping the grafitti and the crumbling walkway and the woman selling beverages in the background would represent the "rough", while the child herself represents the "soft"
