so, did you out stare him author............. or did you glean any pearls of wisdom.........
nice shot btw, I like the lighting
Great set up & execution... shame the guy's a pin-head!
Ok, I give up, who's the intelligent one?
Great shot! Funny comments!!
If you are having a staring contest with the skull... your gonna loose!!!
But sorry, maybe I'm just 'overly enlightened' this morning but could you explain to my why this fits the theme "great intelligence". I'm not disclaiming that it doesn't, I guess I just want to hear your description.
Hey! I totally thought you were "That" guy. Clever, author.
You would ask a question like that Josh. lol.
Ok it's my artistic representation of the famous "To be or not to be" scene from Hamlet.
If your not familiar, Hamlet is pondering the question "to live or not to live". If you actually read his speech, you'll notice that his ideas of "being" and "not being" are pretty complex. Living is, in his mind a kind of slow death, a submission to fate. On the other hand, death is initiated by a life of action, rushing armed against a sea of troubles—a pretty hopeless project, if you think about it.
He's looking at a very complex and common dilemma from an intelligent and philosophical point of view.
If you look at my entry from that perspective you can see how this displays intelligence.
On the other hand if you look at it from a literal perspective all you get is me staring at a plastic skull that's far to small while trying desperately to come up with a BS story as to why it won't be off theme
I was satisfied with Hamlet. Oh, and that description was so entertaining. Now I'm really glad I asked for one.
I like the Hamlet. Not too many people are as intelligent as Shakespeare (good explanation of the soliloquy, too)
Jee, before I even read all the comments, my thought was 'Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him well." Nicely done, author.
Great "intelligent" shot author...best of luck
very good intrepretation!!!!
Howdie stranger!
