Lovely..shame the image is so small!
The image is small? Did you look at the high res? ... it takes up almost my whole screen... the image itself is approx. 12 inches by 8 inches.
It's high enough for me. GL!
Really artistic

a popular angle for shooting in this building.
is this gothic, the roof windows do not look as such.
Cool. Where/what is this?
Ade----->since you "know" about this building, you should know the answer.
kyricom---->National Historic Museum London
stunning
I didn't say I knew the building, I just seen a few shots of in the internet taken from the same angle.
i see.....so you must been using tineye to compare this shot to other's.. well it is a gothic design kinda building. Not to have that gothic windows doesn't mean its not a gothic building. If you have time (google) you can see the full structure from outside to inside...and it is actually in the London's gothic building btw. Thank you Ade.
Great shot, but I red articles (on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_History_Museum#History_and_architecture) about the building and I didn't saw it's in a gothic style. Romanesque and Victorian style yes, but not gothic.
Artifakts :
What is Gothic Architecture?
Gothic Architecture emerged following the Romanesque style of Norman Architecture. Gothic architecture is the term used to describe the building styles which were used between 1200 to 1500. The different types of English Gothic Architecture styles are divided into three phases.

I made an account just to say that I am sorry but you're wrong. Gothic Architecture has a set of characteristics that make it Gothic. There are plenty of Norman buildings made in the 1400's.
Gothic Architecture almost exclusively emphasizes :
1 - Light - plenty of windows, whenever possible.
2 - Ribbing - roof ribbing to conceal the roof.
3 - Pointed Arches - Not Roman pointed arches.
4 - Buttressing - Whether flying or columnar.
5 - Lancets
Late Gothic includes crockets, Pinnacles, tracery and flamboyant symbolism.
This building is in fact a Neo-Romanesque style building built between 1873-1880.
Nice! GL!
