Taken from a 9th floor balcony two blocks from the ocean. The city drags a barge into the ocean almost in front of us with the fireworks on it .Great show; very close and very loud. Unfortunately cxl'd due to environmentalists. Bummer.

I agree Eladine, but after having read the goal again, I feel perhaps the contest is more about somebody's best holiday photo rather than best travel photo, they are not necessary the same.

taken from the contest goal "show us your best holiday shots of the past." Yes you are very right so Vibeke and from that point its a very interesting picture and very much fitting for the contest.
