In April 2015 a "MOTHER OF ALL EARTHQUAKES" hit Nepal and 9,000 lives were lost. The quake lasted between 45 to 60 seconds. Mt. Everest shrunk (I think they said by 3 cm) and we lived through it. Yes, we ended up embedded with a Nepali business group and Red Cross and visited remote devasted villages to help. (5 years and 976 days ago)

This photo was taken one month after the quake. Right after the quake Kathmandu had the stench of rotting bodies as they decomposed beneath the rubble, but we were 60 kilometers away in a place called Hetauda. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment.
