well it is not a "glowing effect" a laser beam is a concentrated wave and a "ray" is only a part from the visible wavelenght. Anyhow...

sorry, as good as it is, I have to agree.this is a beam, not a ray. Although, there is an argument, that in the early sci fi films, the weapons were called 'Ray Guns', and they were laser beams!!

gosh, can someone explain exactly what's the differens between ray and beam? to me a beam is visible without particles in the air. and ofc all light WE SEES is in a visible wavelenght.
