I think this is on theme, it just needs the author to explain what the little girl is laughing at, as per the guidelines for the contest...............'If it's not obvious from your photo what the person is laughing about, mention it in your description'.........your own guideline wording!!

@ adeincyprus: yes, my own guidelines, but the question is" is this entry following the guidelines?" it's a YES/NO question!! Hey, guess what?! NO! If the little girl was laughing at someone, a short excplanation would have been already there. the real problem is that people have no respect for these contest and upload everything they can find on their pc and are a little suited.

She is laughing at life... what else do little kids laugh at... hence, the most sincere laugh! When this picture was taken, she was just running around a grassy area and finding it really fun... I could not, for the life of me, figure out what exactly sparked the laughter, as I usually can't, since she just laughs at the most random things ever... But if you insist, she might have been laughing because she was having the time of her life running free and careless!!!

I feel it's on topic, we have real laughter. I would have cropped some of the photo behind the girl. As for explaining what people are laughing at, I suspect many of us have taken photos of people laughing, which is why we took the photo in the first place, but we would not be able to remember why. This is not a contest, where we in a week can go out and look for laughing people.

Guilia... I hope I now comply with your own guideline... And I am so sorry that you find a picture like this one so disrespectful! As for uploading everything I find on my pc... mmm... think not... Sometimes a laugh is just a laugh and needs no specific reason to exist, which is the magic of life itself... lighten up!

In this case, More concerned about photo quality than being on theme and the quality is terrible. The car in the background is in better focus and better clarity than the child. There's a lot of noise and the focus is off.
