Honestly this shot would have fit in perfectly with the rule of 3rd's contest.

Its off theme i guess but a very nice pic would say...

I live "here" in the summer time. All summer long I grill.. it's almost a passion, the things I cook on that grill. And the Aspen leaf.. that's home. This image was the first thing to pop in my head when I saw the theme. When I look at this image that I shot last summer, I simply can't wait to get back there.

Really, how can anything be off theme in this contest? If the author says it reminds them of home then it's on theme.

If the leaves would have been in good focus it would have been simply beautiful...

I dont know how close you were to the leaves but a rear sinc flash (flash goes of at the end of exposure) MIGHT have sharpened the leaf edges.

Very cool picture... but should have taken a small step to the right to make it symmetrical. Might've liked a little deeper DOF, too. But great colors and a great photo
