Excellent idea! Definitely creative. I'd bump up the shadows just a TINY bit though to give it a little more contrast (looks somewhat washed out). the framing and angle are perfect though! All the best!

I would imagine the option to reshoot is NOT an option but the spider is out of focus.

I really can not reshoot because I killed the spider soon after taking the photo =D. The photo is out of focus because the spider was too small and was climbing up on the edge of the web so fast it was hard to focus and follow it.
