If you wander the hills in our area you may come across old homestead ruins, and as you see here, family graveyards that are no longer tended. These are the graves of the Lord family. John Lord, the one on the left, was a veteran of the American Revolution (as described on the stone) who died in 1839. This was around Memorial Day, and some local farmer placed an American flag at his grave. (5 years and 2591 days ago)
