Thanks for your comments and waiting. This is a different shot. Yes, Eladine. This is a single snowflake caught on a black card. Taken with a 35-80mm zoom with an extension tube and magnifying filter.
wow how did you get it not to melt? it looks awesome
and i had not voted yet because your answer would really make a difference in the vote 
it would be easier i think to capture a plastic or glass snowflake like that then a new one because real flakes melt normally
