How is this an emotion?

Wel i think the peacock is displaying Confidence, Pride, Optimism, Enthrallment, Affection, Joy, Love, Sexual desire, as he tries to impress a mate with his courtship ritual.

I understand your sentiment author, but it does not look so much like that in this image. This, imo, is a shot of peacock feathers, no more, no less.

I agree with Kyricom and Ade, Its a lovely shot, and i'm sure another contest will come when you can use it, but not here.

Not all emotions are by facial expression - to me this shows emotion using body language

Beautiful colors and shot. I doubt it can be reshot, but next time I would suggest leaving the empty part of the shot in front of the boat, to imply where it's going. But a really nice shot nonetheless
