Photo was shot on the north shore of Kauai on a ten mile long hike. This is my brother Amos meditating on a cliff that dropped off about 500 feet. (5 years and 3092 days ago)
Lovely photo, with a very crocked horizon, it would be nice if you straightened it.
What friiskiwi said, but also he doesn't look very lonely to me. By nature, meditation brings about thoughts of peacefulness and tranquility. I would reshoot something that gives a sad feeling rather than a content one.
On the plus side, the photo is awesome and I love the colors in it!
Thanks for the advice! I shot this photo to where the slanted horizon was almost pulling the viewer towards the subject of the photo, which is my brother, I sometimes dislike when photos are completely symmetrical. Also loneliness doesn't always mean sadness. One can be quite content and peaceful when they are in a state of being solitary.

IMO the title makes it off theme, how ever if you change the title the photo would be perfect.
Being lost in thought, doesn't make him a looser, but he could have lost his way, lost his money etc.

According to the guidelines "The theme is conceptual and therefore leaves a lot of room for everyone's creativity and ideas how to turn the theme into an image."
So what you're attempting to say is merely a title puts an image off-theme? Give me a break...
Thanks for your suggestion...renamed
Didn't mean to upset you, but with the original title the photo didn't seem to fit the theme, and you know how picky the Mods can be, It's such a good photo, that I would hate to see it removed. Perhaps it's just my grasp on the language. GL
hey i liked it... i felt as if some one has stolen his important object/wallet or he has lost his passport.. and he is sitting sad in any railway platform or airport... lol funny but this what i felt when saw 1st this image !
