The white horse hanging in the middle of the group gives this a nice sense of symmetry without actually being symmetrical (hard to pull off, but awesome when you do). Framing is great and the colors are well done (although I'd like to see this with the colors muted to give it a more nostalgic/rustic feel). Great work!

great shot, just wish the focus has been on the bird rather than the hand.

You're right Kiwi, but it all happened in an instant, I saw a seagull swooping down and I started to shoot without having time to take good focus and framing.

I think think this is a superb example of what this contest is about! Friiskiwi may be right but this is still awesome.

On another note I've been on this site for almost a year now and it wasn't until your comment Author that I realized what Friiskiwi's screen name meant! Wow do I feel dumb

Her last name is Friis and she's from New Zealand. And in case you don't know New Zealanders are nicknamed Kiwis.
