A fly can be beautiful. You just need an eye to see its beauty. That One eye is your camera and the way of seeing is through your lens. Used a cellphone and a 'home made' macro lens. (5 years and 592 days ago)
I would like to thank you very much for sharing with this site as to how you captured this beauty. It is how we all learn. Tell us about your HOMEMADE macro lens...is that a regular lens turned around? I like the artistic way you have presented this little beauty and the gray background with circles enhances and points us to the little fly.
Yes I would love to share this.
But should i share it here or somewhere else in this web?
i'm new to this web.
TIA
Yes, I do believe you can share the process with fellow photographers. That way we can all try this for the next contest
ok than.
i'll put up a Tutorial soon for it
Fantastic shot!
Thank you sir

Macro of the head of a hornet showing the two compound and three simple eyes. (5 years and 800 days ago)
What a great close-up well scary
I think the hornet was close enough to hit the shutter button, in which case if it did happen, an objection may be raised that the hornet was the author of this image?
This picture is beautiful but too small for my taste (only 880x900 pixels)

Please read the last sentence of the Contest, it does say close up.
Here it is for your convenience.
Contest goal:
Macro photography (or photomacrograph or macrography, and sometimes macrophotography), is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size (though macrophotography technically refers to the art of making very large photographs).
So get your camera our and show us your macro or close up shots!
