Yup, I thought it was you. Gaussian Blur will usually help at times with the grain but not sure what else to suggest...

I use a program called NOISEWARE that's free and it works great!!!! Especially when I know I have to have an iso that i KNOW will have noise.

Thanks MnM-for some shots I happen to like the grain of film that is why I still use it-for others-digital is great-I agree this shot would have been better with dig-but only brought my old 35mm to NYC-Good advice-thank you!

what's with the halos around the buildings

Its called NEON

ok, the macy's sign is neon, but there is a glow around the other buildings, is this the result of neon. they don't have neon signs around them.

go to N.Y.C and look up

My guess is the glow would be the windows on the other side of the building maybe? Am I right? Seems to be where it's coming from.

I see what you're saying Ade. Buildings didn't have that halo when I was in NYC. A bit too much noise for my taste too. Sorry
