Viewed in high res this is really great and see those pops of white lights? I like that creativity for it makes the mask more mysterious.

I like the close tight crop and no it does not bother me that some of the leaves have been nipped as this crop keeps us in on your image. It looks to me like this was taken during high contrast time, afternoon sharp light and you DID NOT blow out the whites, looks like you understand exposure settings and you and your camera have become best friends. I wonder if you had cropped down a bit more, yes you would have nipped off even more leaves but would have eliminated the bars....hmmmm artistic decision I know....I bow to yours.
