Excellent shot, love the contrast between the table, anchor and rope.
Thanks Mark.
You almost got the DOF right.
Actually I've experimented with different DOFs. Like sharp all the way for the anchor, partially sharp, etc. And I finally settled on this because that little bit of off-focus on the anchor's "tail" seems (to me at least) to give that tiny little anchor some delusion of size which may not be apparent without the blue band and the white pendant for comparison.
I can understand you thinking, personally I would have had it sharp from the tip, (near the front) and then gently fade away, but that is my preference and not necessary correct.

Dangerous for their size, surprising speed and poor eyesight, which makes them easily startled. They also defend their young aggressively.
Not to mention those fearsome horns. (5 years and 2582 days ago)
Sounds like my mother-in-law
(just kidding... thankfully, my Mother-in-law is a wonderful person)
LOL!!! It does sound like a mother-in-law!
Texture of the skin and composition make this one excellent.

sweet and sour?
50% correct It must be a compound word remember?
Bittersweet?
Absolutely. Perhaps that vegetable might not be familiar to Friiskiwi. It is a bitter gourd, not commonly eaten by Kiwis
