This is the exact spot of the famous WWII photograph of the US Marines raising the American flag on the summit of Mt. Seribachi after a bloody 4 day conquest of the high-ground. I was blessed and fortunate enough to have re-enlisted on this hallowed ground while serving in the Marines. It was a moment that still brings a tear to my eye when I reflect on it... If only the black line was in the left lower corner of the frame...that would be perfect!I like the BOH sky in the top right corner of the frame...it looks like a tunel/doorway to heaven.Great repetitive patterns & the black leading line looks like a rope,like some thing i can hold on to...HOPE!!!Top marks author!

the bglack line in the corner was a good suggestion but the blown out look in the top is a nice touch, rather than a photo killer like in most other entrys. GL.
