Different, delicate, romantic...
this shot was used in the love letters contest.........
yeah... i was indeed used for the love letters contest , amazing shot though
Ah, ok....I change it! Sorry!
Lovely shot on the theme, I think that the use of sepia here, enhances the fog and adds that dreamy, out of this world effect. My suggestion for improvement would be to try a bit of a soft focus effect on the wood. It would add further to the effect.
Fantastic entry! Good Luck
beautiful
fantastic ! much better now !
there is evidence of selective editing in this shot..........a blurring tool of some description looks like it was used along the hedges on the far bank......
No blurring tool... you can see the original here: http://gs123.photobucket.com/groups/o316/O9P5LFFH37/?action=view¤t=IMG_48431.jpg
I looked at that....there is a blurring of some description along the tops of the trees on the bank. It is not in the original!
Ha, ha, ha, Ade..... it seems that you know better than me ...ha ha
No, I didn't use that tool... I like only HDR, and sometimes balance...
but if you are sure of it...ha ha ...it is ok!
author, I don't know what it is, but there is something there which is not in the original...........
Whatever it is - I can't see it. I do think this looks nicer than the colour version though
Well, Ade...I think you are talking about gradient of the sky above the trees in the background... If yes, it is like this because b/w in HDR....after that balance for sepia... Anyway , thanks again for watching so close....ha ha...thanks my friend! Always a pleasure!
( sorry for my english )
Its very nice the fog in the background.

My husband's class ring photographed on a page in his graduation yearbook. The stone is a sapphire.

nicely captured............do they still do this sort of thing now!
I don't know... It's been a long time since I was in high school!
A rea gem!!
I love how you set the ring on the yearbook. It gave it so much more depth and detail without taking the focus off the ring and stones.
EDIT: Author, you have some pretty nice photography. You may be new but you are definitely experienced.
And also congrats for your second place!
Congrats on your 2nd, well done.

I admire anyone who took on this challenge, I tried so many different ways but I still had reflections in my bubble glass antique pic. Good job, GL
