This is a train carriage that I am converting from a basic carriage of metal, because I was a carpenter before I retired,i was asked to build the carriage in timber, this is at a transport museum that I do voluntary building work.
!st stage was the delivery of timber into the carriage.
2nd stage some of the timber work cut and fitted.
3rd stage most of the timber work now fitted and beginning to be painted,
There is still some work needed to finish the carriage and then it will be ready to use to carry the public behind the train (5 years and 848 days ago)
Would love to catch a ride on it
thnks robvdn for the comment, who knows one day you might
You see your life in stages, or I call them passages. I like this because you were here to watch this carriage be born and caught it all for us.
thanks still,it has been worthwhile though as being a carpenter all my working life have made and converted so much over the years
