Beautiful shot! That is a Damselfly though. Same "family" of insects as the dragonfly, but a dragonfly is unable to close it's wings like that. Still, they are equally beautiful and you captured this one perfectly!

The shot was taken by using slow shutter speed to create silky waterfall stream, and using monochrome style to simplify the image yet increase the contrast between forgroudn and background (5 years and 3140 days ago)
