Its supposed to be dark. I set it up that way. Actually I put my finger over half of the flash so only the top would have light.

I don't have the experience or any equipment for such a professional look but figured I'd give it a try. If you have any suggestions I would more than appreciate them, always open to learning from someone with your talent!

I don't know. There's a little bit of noise on top, but I basically like the lighting and effect. It was a good attempt. Keep trying to get it a little more refined

Love the framing and the lighting. The darkness makes this stand out from all the other entries and does lend that sense of mystery and miraculousness to a closed flower about to open.
