The yellow cast from the light bulbs is a bit distracting (a cool color filter would help), but this is a wonderful vantage point and a very dynamic photo.

I like the glow, adds a meditteranean/ asian feel.

Not really night, just processing to black and white and tint added. All processing applied to the whole photo.

The blown out values of the lights over dominate the composition, making the stairs a secondary focal point. A polarizing filter would have helped this a lot.

Glad you at least find it interesting MossyB... it was a hand held 14 sec. exposure with 18mm lens with ISO set @ 100, while going down freeway trying to capture the lightning; don't know that I could do it less wiggly... lol
