Love the tones in this photo, and a wonderful tap too.
Iso 50
f:22
223,8 sec exposure.
Update:Rotated the canvas horizontally as rbsgrl suggested.
Update II:Re-shot it with out the candle light.
I hope is better now! (5 years and 3214 days ago)

Fantastic shot! I just wish the pxl logo wasn't right under the faucet, it takes up space that makes this shot so beautiful!
Brilliant author!!!!
I love the feel of this, and it is a great photo, but my eye automatically goes to the light, not the faucet.
it seems like a vulcan in the deep
The stuff kinda seems to blend in together and I'm not sure what that is on the right but I totally agree with the tones. Maybe a use of more light in specific areas to accentuate the two objects? Heck I don't know...
Much better with the crop
beautiful! I've never seen anything like this before
This is a stone wall i build (in a friends backyard) 1 year ago!
He likes very old things (he is some kind of a collector) & he told me to build this wall & place a faucet there so he can soak his garden.
The natural stone was carried from a hill close to his house by me so i ask him to take a photo of the faucet for a photo contest (he couldn't say NO...hahahhaha).
I agree I like the crop and very nice job on the wall!
Kinda creepy! great shot
Great shot author...very very moody...best of luck

sorry, but how is this a machine?
its an electrical device that modifies energy to performance of human tasks..
no, it's a light filament!............imo, this does not qualify as a machine.
well, I guess the definition for "machine" better be changed then because this is a "mechanical or electrical device that transmits or modifies energy to perform or assist in the performance of human tasks." just like the goal description provides. I think too many people here think a machine has to be something metal with gears and gadgets or something
k5683 : I am the same opinion as you
since when have human been producing light?
it is electrical right? It transmits/modifies energy right? It assists in the performance of human tasks right?
So, if a clocks parts are okay in this contest why not light parts? I mean, we just look at a clock or watch and really don't do anything with it right? It just helps us tell what time it is. Well, a light just helps us see.

I am sorry, but imo, that still not not make it a machine....not even a simple one.

It's hard to tell that it is a container.
Yes, maybe i should reshoot at a bit of an angle. This is an old round tin that cookies or candy came in.
