Love the detail on the shnoz. Great detail and good usage of dof. Crop is interesting leaving nothing to the imagination, you wanted us to understand that this is a dog's nose and this aspect has been well done. I cropped the photo really tight and only left his curls and nose in the photo and that gave it an alien look. I like this image you have up.

The values are a bit blown out. The highlights on the nose, collar, and apron are almost "nuclear," the way they glow...

I actually liked the over-effect, but I see your point and have uploaded a more subtle image with softer highlights and shadows. Better ?
