Stunning work. Beautiful light and tones. I disagree with Akassa above....this is very much on topic. It's quite obvious she's wearing dress.

This is an amazing shot, the lighting is awesome, the set up very thought out, well done = )

I'm just guessing, but I think Akassa may be thinking that the dress isn't the focus of the shot. But the theme doesn't say it has to be, it just says that the main subject needs to be wearing a dress, and it appears that the subject of this shot is the woman, and she is wearing a dress.

I think this is a great shot! I don't think the dress plays as much role as it should in this theme, but I think it is still on topic and should not be removed. Voters....just vote accordingly...you know, add or subtract points for key things like: quality of photo, composition, on theme, general pleasing to the eye, etc. etc.

The theme states that a subject has to wear a dress.Nothing about main focus of the photo or role playing!
I think that voters have they're own judge & they don't need some one to guide them.
If any one thinks that this is off topic,just red flag it & let the mods decide...

I can clearly state that she is wearing a dress. I would also say that it is an amazing black and white with a great atmosphere. Also the composing is impressive. Of course, the dress is not the main subject of the picture, but I think it is respecting all the rules. Good luck author. Nice job

lovely, how old are those notes?

These notes are posted outside a building in Williamsburg, Virginia. They are replicas of actual notes written in the 1700s.
