The nuts were laid out on a wood simulated table to somewhat hide spaces between the nuts. The photo was taken from directly above with no flash. A variety of nuts were chosen with different textures and colors to add interest to the photo. (5 years and 2571 days ago)

It tasted even better, except that I had to "cut off" half of a leaf to get more of the cake in.....a photographic compromise I hope will go unnoticed.
