Nice photo, but it doesn't make me want to go there.
o.o; im not sure I wanna go on vacation to sit under a bridge lol Its a great picture though but for this theme I would have picked a different one.
I agree Eladine, but after having read the goal again, I feel perhaps the contest is more about somebody's best holiday photo rather than best travel photo, they are not necessary the same.
taken from the contest goal "show us your best holiday shots of the past." Yes you are very right so Vibeke and from that point its a very interesting picture and very much fitting for the contest.

This is nice, but, personally I would have removed the debris (sticks and stuff) from the foreground as it very much distracts from the model...
