This is obviously done by putting one mirror in front of another, and it seems to me that the place, where the shot was taken, isn't very large.. Just thoughts =) Looking forward to know what it is!
These are my initial thoughts as well because of the straight-lined uniformity in reduction in size of the "lights" with the added innovation of mirrors on the side and thus we see the duplication in the faint mirrored lights behind the real lights. Just guessing of course.
I can see the neon tubing in the hi res...but still VERY perplexing as to what it is. Excellent!

Yes it's almost that... A tunnel of neon and black mirrors. At every horizontal line you see above there's a sliding black mirror. Every 5 minutes the first is sliding so you can see the reflections on the one behin ... and so on. Here the mirror is at the 6th line.

Yes that is what my idea was for entering the contest. Would've done better if I had time. As the contest is almost at the end, I can share my idea of doing the MJ's "Anti-gravity Lean" for the contest, which I couldn't unfortunately.
My brain feels tilted! This is a funny perspective that really makes your brain work.
