The river flows through my city. It's a small city, only about 40000 inhabitants, so you always meet someone you know, it has enough shops to find whatever you need lots of good restaurants, wonderful paths for walking and biking, and plenty of nature, hills and sea.
I have followed the description of the goal, rather than the 'title'.

fantastic, I'm green with envy.
Great shot ! I love lightnings...
Yall would have loved thos cause it was non stop bursts all over! Being in the distance I was able to set up the tripod, hook up the wireless remote, pop open a beer and relax as I shoot the most amazing lightning 
Only with the right equipment and a nonstop show of lightning. Of course you still jave to pick the right settings on the cam :p
I'd love you to do a tutorial on this, and supply me enough lightning to play with
