Very nice use of High Key! We don't see too many shots with this lighting style. I wonder why?
Niiiiish!!! GL!
Very beautiful entry
i find it slightly blown out, maybe go a little lower on the brightness, but overall nice.
Wow.... Perfect for an ad
I like high key, but I wonder if this is just a little too high!
Have to agree with Ade
Actually it depends on how you want to look at it, this is about modern arty. Yes, you need to give that blown out look a bit and at the same time to keep the subject's structure recognizable. I know its not everyone's cup of tea, thank you.
I don't think it's too blown out at all, the edge of the computer slowly falls off, and the detail is perfect in the focal points. This past semester in my lighting class we learned about this type of high key specifically. My professor explained that in this style the old rules get thrown out the window. He said that more and more product shots are leaning this way. It may not be for everyone but by the new standards that are being set, this is perfectly acceptable.
blown out or not.. i love it. Modern, and well constructed set up. and you really got the whites with this.
better start looking at it myself then if it is the modern way of doing things.......
beautiful shot ............... all the best to u ...........
I love it when professors say "throw out the rules!" "Today, we're learning open heart sugery. Throw out the rules!!!" I like the shot, but think it is just a touch overexposed. Post-Modernism sucks!!! (I can say that... I'm a professor!)
Damn, I have no witty comeback. But now my curiosity has been sparked, what are you a professor of?
Howdie stranger!
