Drizzling night when the photo was captured but the elegance of the opera house was still stunning (5 years and 2934 days ago)
healing brush for scratches - levels for contrast - sharpen (5 years and 3432 days ago)
Love the contrast ... interesting take, seeing a sunny day in black and white (I am assuming it is a sunny day as people are lying in the shade
Interesting effect, not sure if I like seeing a daytime photo so dark.
I miss this view!!! *sigh*
I like the effect. A sort of Truffaut day-for-night. Nicely done. Fit's well with the theme, as it actually looks like it was taken with an old camera. GL!

a view from the opera house that isnt as popular (5 years and 3439 days ago)
Those tiles are made in sweden! *proud* i like the lines but the photo could need som more brightness.
great shot, but too dark.
looks like you took this on a bad day.
Not really a closeup
yeah i was only in sydney for a couple of hours that day before i left cant change the weather
the theme calls for close up shots of the materials used, not the wall itself.
The first line in the contest reads as "This contest is about structures. Not buildings".
Sorry author, but it's obvious this is a building.
picture changed guys, hope this is a better option
better shot, but still too dark and lacking in contrast.
I was going to say the same thing, Friiskiwi. Play with the contrast or curves.
not a close up

Built in 1907, this theatre and opera house is said to be haunted. and fortunately for me, its just right down the street from me, and i've had the pleasure of performing there a few times. (5 years and 3582 days ago)

wow, amazing photo, beautiful at that!!
This is a really beautiful photo: very well composed, and with very nice light. But I think the rain drops (if they rain drops) on the lens are quite distracting. Why don't you try removing them in Photoshop?
Thanks for the compliment alerizzo, in my understanding, I cannot manipulate partially using photoshop for the competition and I kinda like the "bokeh" effect by the raindrop
hey, I loved that bokeh effect, its adding beauty to the image
Beautiful capture author.
I would crop the bottom of the frame, right on the diagonal curve of the concrete bench (leading line) to be technically perfect IMHO.
Totally agree with Karaflazz and the image is updated
