This would have been even better if the pen had been turned a bit more sideways to show the writing tip in profile, or even from the top. The black underside is a bit bland.

I like the simplicity of this shot and agree a little gold would also be nice. I almost went out and purchasrd a fountain pen to photograph but then I remembered how many oxford shirt i ruined with a blue ink stain. Nice entry author
