Is this within short walking distance from your home?

its about 20 mins from the place where im putting
up at the moment, for the past 2 months. It is reputed to be a popular hang out spot for thousands who drop in to chill out everyday after office hours. It is a revelation to see the eternally busy population of a bustling metropolis relax on the sands....stealing a few rare moments which are their own.
However next week i shall be off to another city...my own hometown.

I like how you chose to incorporate your background into this image. Most people on this site (myself included) who shoot low key tend to darken the entire backdrop out and only show the subject. Its nice to see something done differently and, most important, done well. All the best!

She was just outside playing that day after a rain. I was snapping pictures of her. Since I am new to the photography world, it was just a lucky shot. I thank you all for the wonderful comments.
