Just guessing, but I think they're little lizard eggs.

I love the fact that you could even FIND this shot! I think (for me anyway) that the scale reference actually detracts. GL author.
I felt I had to have some size reference because these perfect eggs were the size of a pencil eraser. I wish I had seen what hatched.
