I have way too many ties with Christmas and Holiday subjects that had to be worn at the annual office party or Christmas eve at home. I dislike these second to the larger number of golfing ties. (5 years and 2987 days ago)

The oily look just doesn't look "real." Too artificial a set up. Perhaps if you wiped off the excess so that there is just the thinnest film, rather than such a high gloss...
