Yum
3 garlic cloves,
1 chili pepper,
5 leaves of basil,
1 can of peeled tomatoes,
4 spoons of good olive oil,
500 gr of short pasta (see photo above)
Put a saucepan on the gas fire with oil, garlic and chili until the garlic gets brownish. Squeeze the peeled tomatoes with a fork and pour them in the saucepan. Add salt. When the sauce is almost ready add the basil leaves.
Put 2 liters of water in a pan, bring them to boiling point, add salt, throw the pasta in it and stir. When pasta is boiled, strain it and put the sauce on it.
Buon appetito!

Well pasta Al dente. (5 years and 3650 days ago)
Author, this is really off contest theme. You were supposed to photograph a culinary disaster. This just kind of makes me crave spagetti. No description to what the disaster is either.
"Well pasta al dente" a play on words, eg: well past al dente or over cooked pasta. It is therefore on topic.
it is only overcooked if that is what you wanted...........here where I live, the pasta is deliberatly cooked this way, it is th eway we eat it here with some of our dishes. so, this would not be a disaster........now if it was stuck to the bottom of the pan!........that would be a disaster!
