Little Bo peep has lost her sheep
And doesn't know where to find them.

good idea
nice
Thank you. I think I have learned lots of things from the comments and suggesions of everyone. Maybe I'm getting a little better...
Wait and see the shots I made today (hope they can fit some contest soon)
very nice, the only suggestion I can offer is perhaps a greater DOF by shooting at like f/22+ to get the entire photo in focus.
itsmymoment, I would have loved to have everything in focus, but I'm afraid you are talking Chinese to me... what is "f/22"?
Do you think my Sony DSC-S90 4.1 mega pixels mpegmovie VX camera allows me do what you suggest?
Nice idea......great shot!! GL

It's a little blown own, meaning too bright and an HR would be nice.

Thanks jojeda. It's my favorite too
Gorgeous sun flare = )
Thanks Emik.
Thanks everyone !
The irony of this shot was that I actually had no intention of taking it. The late afternoon sun was blazing through my window, (hence the pulled curtains), and it sort of irritated my eyes quite a bit and so more out of anger I took the camera and fired off a shot. And when I replayed it on the camera LCD, I was pleasantly surprised. It confirms the old saying...."what is planned seldom happens; what happened is seldom planned"
I congratulate the winner, beautiful photo, but I see a glass between the sun and the camera. I had asked if we could, and I was told no.
See the comments under the contest.
Hi Lincemiope. There was no glass, (meaning glass window), of any kind between the the sun and the camera. The sliding glass window was completely opened. The little gap in the curtains was to let some air in as it was a very hot tropical afternoon, otherwise I would have completely closed off the curtains as the sun's glare was irritating me then. This country is right on the Equator. Closing off the glass window would have been hot and suffocating. I hope this helps?
certainly helps. of course it was not a controversy, to you, but since I also had a picture of the sun against a partially broken glass, I would like to publish it. I'm glad you told me, you were really nice.
Congratulations on your beautiful work, for others I see., Donatella
Thank you again for your kind words. Perhaps you can use your "broken glass" photo for some other contest, at least on the "Anything Goes" category.
