pennies in the hand (5 years and 2778 days ago)
your photo is on theme, but very low quality, any chance of a re-shoot?
Author, you may want to reshoot and/or upload a hi-rez image also, when you upload images, be sure to check the box that says 'save hi resolution also"

Being able to quickly add up Cents only makes sense... (5 years and 3445 days ago)
Really nice macro, but I'm not sure I understand the relationship between the penny and the circuit
gud luck to u ......... but i am with kyricom .... the same doubt ........
To me, I think it has to do with the copper?
Yes, the copper. The penny is there for scale and to show how it's also used to "count itself'. I forgot to mention, it is actually part of the inside circuity of an adding machine...
very nice....
Picture is really good.. My view is that the author could have tried something else which is easily recognized by laymen like me.. Sorry if my comments hurts...
I agree with Abroono. Although the description helps, it doesn't really seem to show math being done.

Nice dof manipulation. We also blow on the penny when we find it...don't you?
No. I hadn't heard of that one. I'll have to try. I can use all the good luck I can get.
My mom and dad used to do that...now I do it too. It's from the 'old country'. It works for me everytime...YOU WILL have good luck, honest.
