First of all, thankyou all for the nice comments!! TankRed, infrared photography is the art of capturing invisible light. In my case, I use a dslr that has had the inner filter that actually blocks ir rays removed and replaced with another one that allows max ir rays. In doing this, you can no longer take normal color pictures but it has loads of artistic capabilities. I have set the white balance by taking a photo of some green leaves or grass that is well lit and use that color as my white balance. Some ir filters allow more ir rays through than others, that is where the unique colors come from. I do the processing on mine in Lightroom with some custom settings that I have developed just for the certain cameras I use.
