It looks like the framing comes more from the chromatic lens flare than the suns actual rays (I'm assuming thats what you meant). Very creative idea! I'd play with the shadows a bit though so your photo doesn't look so washed out. Still, great thinking! All the best!

I like the silhouettes of the boats. Might crop a little from the bottom
