ND filters, neutral density filter, is really just a filter with a neutral grey colour. which will decrease the amount on light and consequently force you to increase exposure time. They come in ND2, ND4, ND8 reducing the light by 1-2 or 3 stops. You can also get gradual ND filters, which is great for reducing the amount of light in the sky.
