This photo has so much going for it, but the contrast is too high, You have lost all detail in the shadows. Try re-processing and at the same time, straighten it a little.

Nice bird, but it's too centered. Try trop crop it to put the bird at the first third of your picture. You'll see, your picture will be more attractive.

You also may want to add some contrast.
