Good idea to change this to monochrome for the strong shapes and textures really pop. The black shadow in dead center is rather strong and please look at your sky...there is a lot of noise with jpeg artifacts thrown in, try using your de-noise .

Thanks to your post I shall never look at rocks the same way. To have put this into b/w gives it much more impact for the textural quality has been brought out really well. You have a broad gradient range that further gives a lot of depth. The composition follows horizontal cut rules of photography and further gives pizzazzz to this well rendered image.

Great shot! Very suitable candidate for black and white treatment due to the contrasting tones. The texture of the roof and walls compliments the texture of the rocks. I like this one a lot.

Yes, to monochrome and rural....wow this is rural....almost isolation. Good gray zone handling showing skill in photo proccessing and photo manipulation.

Yes to this one as well. NIce and sharp I really like that outcrop of stones there because it gives us the feel of "peeking in" on a scene and whether it is rocks as in this case or grasses I always love that effect. Very nice.
